Sad thing is, with all the mauler nerfs I'm not entirely sure how great bomb-central strategies are anymore. If you really like using bombs and mortars, he'll be S Tier for you. Striker Jones is really good with bomb towers, giving them black popping power. That kinda sucks, especially considering to get the max buff it's like 5000 or 2500 dollars per sacrifice. you still have to spend money to use blood sacrifice, since it deletes a tower. Well, you could argue super brittle, but I don't see why you'd go for a super brittle with sun avatar instead of pbrew and overclock. And again, why would you go for Adora to buff sun avatars when you could go Pat lol, Pat literally increases a sun avatar's damage output by 100% (200% at level 14), that's insane and completely unbeatable. No wasting money with blood sacrifice for temporary buffs. If you want a HEAVY dps hero, you go Churchill, as he's much less of a pain in the ass to work with. Pat is better all around support, or Brickell for naval towers, Sauda, Etienne, Quincy, and Psi are generally better for dps. Gwendolin has my favourite personality, and she used to be the single best hero in the game back at launch, but nowadays she's outclassed by a lot of heroes. I usually prefer support heroes over raw dps heroes. And I don't think I ever will, cause I can't think of any strategy I can think of that I would use that would make better use of Psi than another hero. Psi seems really good with their infinite range, but like with Etienne, I haven't really used them. I'll have to experiment with him sometime. Personally I find his lack of early game power combined with his high cost making him bad, but he has huge range so. I haven't really used Etienne much myself so I can't really judge, but I bet the community is screaming that he's S Tier right now. An all around decent hero who's good in 99% of situations, with very good abilities. Fun fact, energizer actually synergizes super good with her, it can make her level 3 ability have basically permanent uptime at higher levels. He definitely has some use to him, I just think a few other heroes can likely do what he does generally better.īrickell + water = yes. But even then I thought I heard Gwendolin was better for druid strategies, but don't take my word on that, I'm just saying what I heard with zero evidence to back it up.
I haven't used him that much, but I can't think of any situations where going for Obyn would be smarter than going for, say, Pat, except maybe a druid based strategy. Pat's stun and knockback and his support buff make him suuuuuper good, gotta agree there, although his price makes him annoying to get.
That's why Resort and Balance are her best maps. Maps with low/no track overlaps = bad for Sauda. Sauda is really good but iirc she's really bad on advanced/expert maps cause of her teeny tiny range.
